KnStudio

White Meditation Room is a show devised together with the Galleria Grossetti Arte Contemporanea in Milan. It brings together various artists with the same aim: to create an art that whispers, that is hinted at, a sweet and meditative art, powerful in its tenderness and imposing in its lightness.

"White" since white is the principal colour of the show: in all its innumerable tonalities, with all its intrinsic meanings of purity and striving for perfection, for fluctuation of form, and for the impalpable lightness of material.

"Meditation" because figures have been inserted into a completely antiseptic venue, works of art that make us reflect and meditate and which, with their presence, soften the burdens of our daily life, give our minds breathing space, and leave us time for thought.

"Room" because we have gathered together and found a place for the works in a closed space, one that allows them to interact and act on the space itself, one that they can transform, muffle, and make unrecognizable: they make it pure and uncontaminated, as though seen for the first time and rediscovered.

ANGELA GLAJCAR

Angela Glajcar and her suspended sheets of paper, her tunnels of spiritual light, vibrant in their essence, alive in their own light which is simply, unexpectedly, and intimately gathered up and returned to us.

EDOARDO ROMAGNOLI

Edoardo Romagnoli and his vision of the world seen through unbelieving eyes, those of someone who knows how to observe and rediscover nature in the form of a miracle, with a "suspension of disbelief" that only an authentic soul can experience.

MATS BERGQUIST

Mats Bergquist and his tactile inquiries into smoothed and dusted volumes, solid elements softened by antique techniques and contemporary balances, rendered sensitive by compositional flashes and unexpected impulses.
